Alpenhof's Children ski school

In cooperation with Michi's Ski school our Family hotel offers various short courses tailored to your wishes.  Don't miss our special Bambi-Offer for children. We would be pleased to provide you with more information during our ski school office hours.

 Procedure:

09:10: Meeting point at Hotel: After confirmation from the skischool office at your inscription your child is picked up by a ski instructor from the hotel and taken by bus to Ißkogel-Talstation.
09:30: Your child is given to the appropriate instructor at Ißkogel-Talstation. You may choose to bring your children to Ißkogel-Talstation yourself.
15:30 (approx.):  Your child returns from Ißkogel-Talstation with his ski instructor. As the ski instructors like to given parents information about their child's progress, parents are asked to pick up their children at the meeting point.

Small children must be brought by their parents to kindergarden at the Ißkogel-Bergstation for reasons of child safety and security.

If you want to spend some time for yourself on the slopes or you want to relax during your holiday? Our team of the "Arena Kids Club" with Billy wil take good care of your children.

Under the professional supervision of Michi's Schischule together with mascot Billy, children from 1 year old can stay in the kindergarten at the Isskogel mountain station.

  • Hourly or daily basis, everything is  possible
  • By showing a valid ticket for the kindergarten there are no costs for the ski lift for one parent (without ski equipment). Kindergarten tickets are available at the Isskogel valley station or in Michi's Schischule office.

Combi offer for 2-3 years old children

2 years old

The first steps in learning how to ski for two year olds with the Billy Minicarver (plastic ski, without having to wear ski boots). The duration of the lesson is 50 minutes (max. of two children per ski instructor, ski's included) and is also possible in combination with our kindergarten. If you choose for our "combi offer" you can bring your child from 09:00 to our kindergarten.

3 year old

Children from 3 years on can choose between a 2 hours ski course (practice slope village centre or Isskogel mountain station) or our "combi offer". The combi offer includes 2 hours skiing and during the afternoon kindergarten. If you choose for our combi offer the meetingpoint is 10:00 at the Isskogel mountain Station.

Kinderskiclub starting 4 years

At Michi's Ski School the children have a central role. The children will be classified by age and skills and your child will have a qualified and professional ski-instructor.

Your child will get lessons according the newest Austrian skischool technique.

  • Have fun with our tools like ropes, rings, parachutes and much more
  • Ski Race with presentation

Lunch break is from 12:00 - 13:00. The children will get a complete lunch with beverages under supervision of the ski instructor.

The groups Maxi's, Kids, Juniors and Super Juniors will have lunch in another restaurant every day, because they are skiing within the whole Zillertal Arena
